Outliers Athletics, a program of Outliers C & SO, Inc, has finally been born. Sponsoring the organization’s first organized team in the Downtown Syracuse YMCA’s Corporate Basketball League, Outliers is one of eight teams vying to becoming victorious in their pursuit of the league championship.
The Outliers team is comprised of local entrepreneurs, Outliers college students, and a former NCAA female basketball athlete…the only team in the league with a female! The team embodies what Outliers stands for and with one game under their belt, the season looks bright. Although the first game was a loss, the team lead the entire game and ended up losing by two points; what can only be chalked up to the fact that this was the first time the team had ever played together (at least that’s what we’d like to say!).
Stay tuned as Outliers Athletics pursues the championship with only victory in sight!
